Writing an ad for Craigslist posts and automated posting software
A good rule of thumb when writing an ad for Craigslist is to use the K.I.S.S. formula or Keep It Simple Silly…
Craigslist is one big ol’ website and people there are usually browsing and looking at a ton of different things! I find it’s best to use double spaces and to keep the number of lines at no more than like 8 to 9 long.
Writing ads that use no spacing are not as easy to read.
Once your title does it’s job and they are actually reading your ad, you need to capture their attention even more by using a benefit packed 1st sentence!
Don’t get overly wordy, just dive right into the “selling” points, the quicker the better!
I have seen posts that are 10 and 15 paragraphs, or a small book…This was a complete waste of time for somebody, because nobody is going to read all the way through there.
Keep it short… It’s suggested not to use a live hyperlink or URL because Craigslist will delete your ad…The best way I’ve found is to ask the reader to just reply back and then you can answer them directly. If you are using Google email accounts, you can pre type an automated answer in the vacation setting. This way responding to people is hands off, automation is key for a lucrative online business!
If you have the ability to change IP addresses, you can get away with using an actual link in your ad…Allot of people use a dial up service so they can change IP addresses. Once they log off, then back on, you will have a new IP address. Post no more than 8 to 10 ads per IP, this is worked the best for me and others I know.
I never bother with CL accounts, I just used emails, but opinions on this very.
You can hand post manually, but it’s a pain in the buttocks. It pays to purchase an automatic poster software as this will really save you time.
If you have absolutely no desire to learn how to use software, then you might want to look into this machine. This is a dedicated server that’s only job is to post ads all day long. You simply give the company your campaign and they will set everything up.
Once you get your machine, all you do is pull it out of the box, plug into your phone line and watch it work for you! You don’t even have to plug in a mouse or a keyboard! You can if you want to make changes, but if you dont even want to do that, the company will do it for a fee. This is true hands off craigslist marketing!
This sucker can post upwards of 400 to 500 ads per day! It can post text or image ads!
Craigslist is too big to ignore, there are sales to be made! Hop on board!
