Do you use a capture page or what others might call a landing page or squeeze page? Call them what you will, but all they do is capture a persons name and email address. This is a means of collecting peoples names and email addresses so that one can send them a series of letters to come back and visit their website at a later date.

These letters are loaded into a system known as autoresponders. Using this system is highly effective and is used the most in the MLM/Home business market. The whole basis behind using Capture pages is because it’s a widely known fact that most people will not buy your product or service the first time they see it.

 The autoresponders will start to send their pre entered series of letters to the person to entice them back to your website to make the purchase or to “sign up” in whatever business opportunity is being presented. This is a very effective way to automate your business…Gone are the days where you must call people on the phone to pester them over and over…let technology do the sifting and the sorting!

There is however one drawback to using capture pages and it is this. Listen carefully to the point I’m getting ready to make. Do not under any circumstances use your sponsors custom made capture page. You need to be branding your self, you don’t need to be branding someone else. You need to stand out…you need to establish the fact that you are the person to join! When your capture page has your”sponsors” picture and audio, who do you think gets noticed more, you or them?

You are spending your hard earned dollars to promote your page, and they are getting a free ride. People are going to look at them as a person of success and they just might seek them out to join instead of you. People want to work with winners and top earners of a company because they think that somehow magically their success will rub off on them!

It happens! people will Google how to get in touch with your sponsor and join them instead! The thing is, your “sponsor” or guru knows this! They are counting on getting as many people as they can using their capture pages.They are banking on the fact that you need a success story to share at the beginning because you don’t have one yet.

So make sure you brand yourself, don’t use sponsor made capture pages and shy away from stale and over used company capture pages…Seek out some good custom capture pages companies on the web and start being unique! Google it!

Now get out there and start making some money!
