Make HUGE money with this cutting edge colon cleansing tea!

06 Nov, 2008

If you’re in the market to take back your health and make some money at the same time then you NEED to read every word of this very carefully! I have joined an amazing little MLM company that is poised to become a giant.

Usually when I’ve joined other nutrition type companies in the past, I joined with my interest mainly being the money I could make. Well, I still joined with that mindset into this one, but something about this opportunity was a little different. One of their products is an herbal/antioxidant tea that you drink. It’s formulator is known worldwide and thousands of people have drank this stuff and have experienced results that were no less than phenomenal.

What makes this tea so amazing is that it not only tastes good, but can clean out your digestive system. Many people do not understand that the GI tract, or intestinal tract is vitally important to your bodies overall health. In fact did you know that 90% of your immune system is comprised of your lower GI tract? When your colon is plugged up with last weeks fast food meal, your body absorbs toxins, develops parasites and accrues caked up human waste.

This is very unhealthy for you…That waste excretes harmful toxins into your bloodstream and creates a plethora of other health issues. A plugged up colon can lead to a bulging belly or midriff, skin rashes, foggy memory, concentration problems, and so much more.

Well, when people drink this tea, they report that many if not all of these type issues simply go away. When your body is healthy, and waste flows out like it was intended, then your immune system has the power it needs to protect your body from fungi, parasites, bacteria, viruses and more!

Since so many people these days are becoming more and more health conscious, and money conscious, this makes the perfect opportunity to show people! The best part is the cost- You can start your very own online/offline home business for ONLY $39 to $49 bucks! Your monthly out of pocket expense is only $40. Folks, if you’re looking for a simple product and business, then look no further. This is a gigantic opportunity for you to start earning a nice weekly check. I will help you every step of the way.

We have a great upline for ongoing support.

So right now I urge you to take a look at this super duper powerful business. Get signed up now…Everyone can afford this! It’s too easy not to do

Looking forward to working with you.

Do you need to shop around for a sponsor?

06 Jun, 2008

This is an interesting subject, and I imagine it would cause a great deal of debate among MLM enthusiasts, but here’s my opinion on the matter.

In my experience over the years of participating in many MLM opportunities, I’ve seen every imaginable type of personality when it comes to speaking with a potential sponsor for the particular company I was considering joining. You have your people that just started themselves, so they really can’t answer your questions yet, you have people act like they could care less if you join, I’ve seen the “super salesman” that tell me how much money they are making , but never prove it…I’ve seen the know it all types. You’ve heard them, they start blabbering about marketing, they’ve been there and done that, they tell you everything they think you should know LOL- They never stop to consider that you you might already know allot of this stuff, but they like to  posture themselves as the “know it all”.

It bugs me when I am talking to people and they ramble on and on about what they know…They seem to be a great talker, but they fail to understand that this industry is more about listening. You need to do more listening than talking…Your potential new sponsoree can get turned off pretty quickly if they feel they can’t get a word in.You will find out how to approach your prospect if you listen to them. They will give you clues on what to say to them, but if you feel the need to control the conversation, you’ll likely scare them off.

 Ok back to the subject…

At the end of the day, none of these people really impressed me, because innevitably just about every single one of these people disappeared after the “newness” of my joining them wore off. See, like I talked about in an earlier post, MLM is a numbers game. When you join a person, they mark and x through your name and move on to the next person to try and recruit them.

I’d say most MLM reps care about your success, but there is a large portion out there that do not. Chances are your “sponsor” won’t even be with the company you joined in 2 to 3 months anyway, so what do they care? This industry is filled with part timers, newbies and people with little to no business training. These people have no idea what they are doing themselves and they sure don’t know how to train and motivate others.

So, do you shop around for a good sponsor? It doesn’t hurt to do some due diligence to see who the leaders are in the company you’re looking into…To see who the leaders are, type in the name of your business opportunity on social networking websites like Youtube or others. See who has allot of videos out there, and you’ll discover the leaders.

The leaders are quick to brand themselves with numerous videos, webinars and private conference calls etc…These are people you might want to consider joining because it’s likely they will have the tools in place for you to use. They take a proactive approach to their business  and will help you get going. What I wouldn’t expect however is constant baby sitting, these types will help, but they will quickly size you up to see if you are worth their time to help or push off to the side.

The moral of this issue is to be a self starter, because no sponsor in the world is going to be by your side 24 hours a day.Yes, it’s important to pick someone you feel will help you, but don’t expect much more than that…If you find someone willing to always do 3 way conference calls, respond to your emails in a quick manner, then boy you made a find!

This is my opinion, not necessarily the rule of thumb…Point is, be responsible for your own financial future, because nobody cares about you as much as you do.

The perfect business opportunity, does it really exist?

05 Jun, 2008

The perfect home business opportunity…does it exist? Is it some mythical creature that lurks about inside the pages of your favorite home business magazine or opportunity card deck or junk email that got overlooked among the 104 others? Has it been spotted in the Florida everglades or in the pacific northwest like the Yetti or bigfoot…or dare I even say Lochness?

Well, let me answer this question, there really is no “perfect” home based business…Like beauty, the opportunity is in the eye of the beholder. One person may look at a business opportunity and say wow, that’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. Another person can look at the same thing and say ahhhh…it’s a pyramid or a money game….

We don’t all appreciate the same aspects or pro’s and con’s of a business opportunity. For example, some people join a business for the products, they use them, they swear by them. Another person may join strictly for the money, to them the product is strictly a “by product” of the business itself. They could care less if the product was drained and manufactured from a rare tree in the Amazon…it doesn’t matter to them.

The opportunity itself doesn’t draw the person in, it’s how much money can this thing make me is the real question. I mean, a great product, marketing system and compensation plan all matter, but it’s the emotional connection the person has to it that’s going to dictate their successes or failures.

I’ve seen this alot over the years and it’s always intrigued me. People ask, what do I promote? The copyrighted payplan or the patented and proprietary super liquid nutritional supplement that can make you better looking or taller (ha ha).

The is no right or wrong answer here, just go with your gut. You need to do what you are more passionate about…People can see right through a pretender or fake it till you make it personality. If you are more comfortable pitching the comp plan, then do so, likewise on the products.

Is the perfect opportunity a cheaper one or more expensive one? Again, it’s in the eye of the beholder. Some people join the higher ticket item programs because they produce higher commissions, some join the lesser cost ones thinking it will draw more potential leads…It’s like a tug of war…I personally prefer the lesser to middle of the road opportunities as far as cost goes.

I believe there is a bigger market for the lesser cost ones especially with the high cost of fuel and other living expenses we have right now. On the other side of the coin, do free and extremely low cost programs ever gain mass notiriety or recognition? Not really…Why is this? You’d think that a FREE program would have people joining in droves, but this is never the case. in my 20 + years of network marketing, I’ve never once seen a free business opportunity take off. Don’t get me started on the benefactor programs either, what a joke those were.

This seems like a weird phenomenon, but it’s not and here’s why. We as human beings put a value on things monetarily. When we look at something, in the back of our minds we tend to think in terms of what did that cost. For example, if someone gave you a free Mercedes Benz, your first reaction is going to be what’s wrong with it? Why am I getting this car? What’s the catch? Surely it’s a piece of junk, it’s going to break down when I leave the lot…

Ever drive in a fancy neighborhood and say to yourself wow that house is amazing, I wonder what that cost? On the flip side, did you ever look at a beaten up old shack and wonder how much it was worth? I’m saying no, you did not. We don’t place as much value on cheap and free things.

You look at a guy in a nice suit, you probably think he’s in a position of management or is an executive in some big corporation and that he makes good money…and the guy in overalls is some poor country bumpkin. When in fact, the guy in overalls is a millionaire farmer and the guy in the suit is some brown nosing little pip squeak sucking up to his boss and making 25,000 a year lol…perception is everything!

Back to the house example..

On the other hand, if you paid a hefty price for it, then you will treasure it, you will do everything you can to keep it in great shape, because you have placed a high value on it.You will keep the grass neatly manicured, and try to keep it greener longer than your neighbors…You know the “joneses” across the way?

The same things happen in MLM’s and other home businesses…People do not place value on the free programs, because it’s ingrained in their minds that you don’t get something for nothing, therefore it cannot possibly make you any money.

So in conclusion, go with your gut.If a thousand dollar program suits you, then by all means join it. If a $200 program is the ticket, then join it! There is really no right or wrong answer here. As with everything it boils down to your emotional attachment and how you perceive that others will think of it.

Stay away from paralysis analysis and get busy, time is a wasting.

Stay tuned…Tomorrows post will be…Sponsors, do I really need to shop around for one?

Can you help your new business opportunity sign up too much?

31 May, 2008

This is a subject I have long felt passionate about, but I think I have changed my mind a little. How long do you help that new person that you signed up in your MLM or other business opportunity?

Well, my answer is for as long as they are in your group or “downline”, but there are limits. I used to get angered at my so called “sponsor” when I’d join them and as soon as they knew I was in, the schmoozing stopped, the phone calls slowed down, and barely a trickle of emails came in…

My theory as the “new guy”, was I’m doing the sponsor a favor. I am bringing them money, I am adding to their residual incomes and more! I took offense when they weren’t at my beck and call…But as time went on, I grew to understand why they weren’t always there when I needed them. Like any business, Network Marketing or MLM is a numbers game.

In order to grow an organization, sponsors need new blood or customers to come on board. To get these new customers, the sponsors need to spend their time advertising and marketing to find new reps. Now, this in turn will lead to less and less time that a sponsor has to spend with their past new recruits…All businesses are about about acquiring the most customers possible. The math is simple, the more people you have in your downline means the bigger your checks are!

It just makes sense, that if you want to achieve the dream of long term residual income, you’re going to need a constant influx of new distributors. now with that being said, I feel it’s a sponsors obligation at the very beginning to ensure that his/her new sign up gets the proper training and this doesn’t mean throwing them on some training call. You should make sure your new sign up understands the compensation plan, and what the best ways to market the business are.

You are doing your new recruit and yourself a great disservice if you ignore them so you can go headhunt and find more people. New recruits expect you to take their calls, to respond to their emails and more. If you don’t know the answers to their questions, you should go upline to get their answers in a quick manner.

What I don’t feel in necessary is to feel “obligated” to answer their calls 24/7, when you’re in bed at 3:00 am in the morning or while at work. Some people are like leeches, they just don’t know when to let go.They will constantly bug the sponsor, whining and complaining that they aren’t recruiting anyone, they don’t like to sell or any number of excuses.

People like this will become MLM junkies or program hoppers. They will give up, say it’s their sponsors fault and join some new person and do the same thing over again…They really need a 2nd job, not an MLM program, they are not true entrepreneurs.

A true entrepreneur will cut the chord pretty soon, they will set out to become a leader so they can mentor others…These are the queen bees, not worker bees.

In closing, I say give your new recruit a couple weeks of good attention, and wean them off pretty quick. Give them the attention they desire and you’ll know pretty quick who are are leaders and leeches. You cannot make everyone happy all the time so don’t even try, it’s futal.

So, work with those who can and will produce, and cut the leeches away as soon as possible, but be nice, or they will rob you of your goals. Sometimes, that’s just the way it goes.

How to be a good MLM sponsor

08 Apr, 2008

Being a good sponsor is the single biggest thing you can do to grow a large productive downline. In all my years of participating in MLM/Home business opportunities, I can’t count on one hand the number of  people I thought were good sponsors…and I’ve dealt with hundreds of them!

This is kind of appalling to me, what does this say about this industry? To me, it says 95% of the people that come into MLM are not trained correctly. What you usually have are 9 to 5′ers who got tired of their jobs so they decided to join XYZ MLM company.

They join under someone who initially promised to be there for them, but when the check was cashed, what happened to them? I’ll tell you…That so called “good sponsor” has already forgotten about you and he is on the hunt for his next victim!

This is sad, I wish it weren’t this way, but it is. To be a good sponsor doesn’t mean that you have to give your cell phone out to your new sign up…It doesn’t mean that you have to take their calls at 3:00 am in the morning, it just means be there for them once in a while.

Too many people get dropped like a hot rock or what’s called “orphaned”…Often times these people are brand new to the industry and don’t have a clue what they are doing.

No formal business training, no time management skills, nothing! These people need help and they are not getting any. Once you have a new sign up, just make sure they are familiar with the back office area of their websites. Most companies today have a back office of the replicated website with some sort of tools and training.

It will pay dividends to purchase books on the industry, study them, see what other successful MLM’ers have done to become successful. This is your new business, you need the right tools to make it grow. Don’t treat it like a hobby, that never works!

All your new sign up really wants to know is that you’ll be there if they have a question, you don’t have to know it all either…Just make sure you can call your upline when you need help too! Nothing sucks more than trying to call your “new” sponsor when you have a question and they never answer the phone! Ever had this happen?

Bottom line is this…If you’re looking for an opportunity, and a great sponsor who will be there for you, consider contacting me at dodge445@yahoo.com
